wantage.comOur own little bit of cyberspace which aims to bring together information relevant to the residents of and visitors to Wantage, Grove and the surrounding villages (generally, the OX12 area). The service started in a low key manner in 1997 and has, through suggestions and comments grown to a substantial website and portal. wantage.com does not aim to host the content and so as far as possible we point to, or pull in, relevant information which may be stored on other websites. In some cases where we could not find the information anywhere else on the web, we have created the content ourselves. how it workswantage.com is non-profit making and run for the benefit of the town, its community and businesses. The income from advertising is used for the day-to-day running of this website and to support websites for Vale and Downland Museum (a registered charity), the Independent Advice Centre, and other local charities.
